With only six
professional hockey games spanning his entire career, it seems
amazing that Larry Gilmour should be among those that could
claim a Stanley Cup victory. The prize so sought
after by M.J. and Ambrose O'Brien, and denied to them, was the
career highlight for Gilmour. He was a member of the
Montreal Wanderers in 1908, the year they won the Cup.
Gilmour joined the
Renfrew Millionaires only briefly in 1909 and 1910 the
National Hockey League was formed and the Wanderers joined the
league. His career ended shortly afterwards. |
